Temporary Local

From 2022 to 2024, I moved through the world one month at a time — never long enough to belong, but just enough to feel the shape of a place. What began as curiosity became a quiet hunger — to feel rooted, even just for a moment.

Each city, town, or village revealed itself in layers. The way people moved through their days. The way light changed on familiar streets. I wasn’t a tourist, but I was never truly local — a temporary thread woven into someone else’s everyday. With every place, I learned to let go of expectation and follow what unfolded.

These photographs are a reflection of that quiet presence — of time spent wandering, of borrowed routines, and of the strange beauty that lives in being somewhere, fully, even if only for a little while.
